“You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world.”

Morpheus, The Matrix

I’m a tremendously curious person, hunting after every new thing. I studied Physics because it was fun. I really enjoy learning about the only universe I’ll ever life on. I found most interesting Solid State Physics and Statistical Mechanics, which led me into a PhD in Strongly Correlated Electrons. Those were crazy days, trying to understand how interactions between electrons affect their collective behavior.

Computers are the dark side, it is not enough to understand the universe, I also want to control it. Inside a computer I can, a computer is a simulator and I develop simulations, that was my PhD. With that power, I also realized the potential to create new realities. Software is a tool to shape our realities, to extend our capabilities, it is even executable knowledge.

I have learned everything about computers online, and believe in sharing knowledge and software online. To learning you need to seeing how things are done and Free Software encourages this philosophy very nicely. People can share their work and ideas to others to learn even better build upon.

When I get a chance I got out to dance. I like West Coast Swing the most, and you can also find me dancing Salsa, Bachata and even some Ballroom dances. Dancing is the most amazing recreation form it is Art and Sport, it is a challenging craftsmanship.
